Yes! We are always looking for classic literature, literary fiction, New Zealand history and nature, Te Ao Maori, and poetry.

Any LGBTQIA+ books, fiction or non-fiction, would be gratefully accepted.

We are currently wanting to upsize our science fiction and fantasy section, including romantasy.

Our classical history, mythology, and philosophy sections are also areas we are looking to grow.

Generally, we do not have the budget to purchase books unfortunately, unless they are rare or specific collectors editions. If you are unsure or have any questions, please get in touch or send a photo of your books to info@bluehillsbooks.co.nz and we will let you know.

If you have a large collection you wish to donate, please get in touch with us before bringing them in to plan a time. We are a small shop and have limited storage space so will need to make sure we have room.

We don't take magazines, catalogues, books in very poor condition, or outdated tech manuals.
